The plains touched by sunlight beamed brightly, leaving the internal sceneries gloomy – gloomy for the departures of our beloved nursing staffs, Sister Norliza and Pn Noraziah (Kak Azie). Two great columns of strength and perseverance, gone with the wind, into the abyss, living their joyful life in their sacred groves.
Antithesis of lackadaisical, I may or may not make sense but in short, it was a bright sunny day outside, but we were saddened deep inside because of their retirement –we can’t overwork humans can we *cough cough*?
Who would gently remind us to call patients in via iPesakit, if it weren’t for Sister Norliza?
Who would cautiously lay traps to bring us into the pantry for some soul food, if it weren’t for Kak Azie? Many would have died of hunger (but don’t be surprised should these skeletal phalanges keep up with progress notes) if it weren’t for her goodwill.
As always, good food we had. There were orange poppy seed and Victorian sponge cakes, puddings, and other non-dessert items that I paid less attention to (more like they were gone by the time I got there).
Tummies filled with impermanent roughage, but none could fill in the void.
Anyways, we hope you get to travel lots and spend time with your loved ones, Sister Norliza & Kak Azie!
