From Maldives to Malaysia

Dr Fathimath Niuma completed her two year fellowship training in Paediatric Ophthalmology in Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. Having completed her Master in Ophthalmology under UM previously, she returned to her hometown in Maldives to serve as an ophthalmologist. After a few years, she chose to move back to Malaysia as an international fellow to further her education and skills training. Here she was actively participating in Paediatric Ophthalmlogy, orthoptics and craniofacial clinics on top of weekly Retinopathy of Prematurity screening.
