The grant is intended to support Universiti Malaya undergraduate and postgraduate students who have been accepted to present their research at academic conferences.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfil all of the following requirements:
- Be an active Universiti Malaya undergraduate or postgraduate student.
- Have received an official acceptance letter from the conference organiser for a paper or poster presentation.
- For postgraduate applicants only: The expected research output from the conference must be a full paper published in Scopus-indexed conference proceedings.
- Obtain written support from:
- the Supervisor (for postgraduate applicants); or
- the Supervisor or Academic Advisor (for undergraduate applicants).
- Submit a complete application, together with all required supporting documents (hardcopy), to your Faculty Deputy Dean (Research) Office for endorsement.
Eligible Expenses
The allocated funds may be used to cover reasonable expenses directly related to conference participation, including:
- Conference registration fees;
- Transportation costs;
- Meal allowances (if not provided by the organizer);
- Accommodation throughout the duration of the conference; and
- Presentation materials such as posters, printouts, and supporting documentation.
Ineligible Expenses
- This assistance does not cover the purchase of permanent equipment such as laptops, cameras, or tablets.
