Congratulations Are In Order!

The first half of 2026 has been absolutely packed for everyone's academic calendars. 

A massive congratulations to all our fellow faculty members on their achievements!

Prof Norlina & Prof Tajunisah on their appointments as College of Ophthalmologist Academy of Medicine Council Members. 

All our UM alumni on their induction to the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia.

Dr Irina & Dr Najieha for successfully completing their subspecialty training in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Cornea respectively. After a gruelling three years training in Ministry of Health and teaching centres in Brisbane and Sydney, they have returned with a wealth of expertise as full fledged consultants.

Dr Sabrina for winning the first prize for e-poster presentation at the 7th Malaysian Annual Glaucoma Symposium 2026 in Kuantan. 

Dr Haris graduating with a Master of Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Newcastle. 

Team Peer Pressure, consisting of Dr Elicia Chieng, Deepam Rajesh Mavani and Dr Vinoshini Devi for competing reaching the semi-finals for the 4th Malaysian Glaucoma Scientific Debate 2026.
