Department of Ophthalmology Universiti Malaya would like to extend our deepest gratitude to chair speaker, Prof Khairidzan from IIUM for once again being our chief trainer for 2026 UM Phacoemulsification Workshop that was held in the Surgical Simulation Lab in the Faculty of Medicine from 5th to 6th August 2026. The 20 postgraduate trainees would not have been able to benefit from this teaching session without the help of our industry partners - Alcon, Zeiss, Hoya, Transmedic, Eye Nation, Johnson & Johnson. Well done to the committee members and facilitators for a successful event! We hope the participants managed to fully utilise the two days to sharpen their skills.
