We are proud to celebrate Umairah, our Master of Biomedical Science student, for receiving the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 18th International Conference of Science and Technology (ICST 2026), held from 17–19 September 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
🔬 Umairah presented her research on the bioinformatic analysis of miR-15a target genes and prediabetes-associated signalling pathways, contributing to our ongoing efforts to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying prediabetes and explore the potential of microRNAs as biomarkers.
This achievement reflects her dedication, hard work, and commitment to scientific research. We are delighted to see our postgraduate students gaining recognition on an international platform!
